How working together actually works.
Eight clear stages, from your first enquiry through proposal, deposit, content, build and review rounds, to launch and thirty days of support.
- 01
Enquiry
You complete the short questionnaire so I understand your business, the problem you want solved and the kind of project you have in mind.
- 02
Fit and clarity
I review your answers and reply by email. If it looks like a good fit, we clarify anything outstanding and agree which offer suits the work.
- 03
Proposal and agreement
You receive a written scope with the price, what is included, what is excluded and the timeline. Work begins once the agreement is accepted.
- 04
Deposit and scheduling
Website builds are 50% to start, which reserves your place in the schedule. The Clarity Audit and Brand & Website Direction are paid in full upfront.
- 05
Content and access
You supply your text, images and any platform access. The timeline estimate begins once the deposit, content and access are all in place.
- 06
Design and build
I structure, design and build the site around clarity, trust and a natural path towards enquiry or booking, on desktop, tablet and mobile.
- 07
Review rounds
The Focused Website includes one consolidated review round; the Signature Website and Website Transformation include three in total across the project. Brand & Website Direction includes one consolidated refinement round.
- 08
Launch and support
Final payment is settled after approval, then the site goes live or is transferred. Thirty calendar days of launch support follow the agreed launch date.
What you supply
Draft text, images and any logins needed for hosting, domains or existing platforms. I organise and refine what you supply. Writing all content from a blank page is quoted separately.
What keeps a project moving
Consolidated feedback within each review round. Timelines are estimates and shift when content, access or feedback are delayed.
What sits outside the build
Hosting, domains, business email, platform subscriptions, stock imagery and paid plugins are separate recurring or third-party costs.
